About

About The Reading Corner

The Reading Corner is a calm place to read along with classic literature — timeless books narrated aloud at a comfortable pace.

The read-along companion adds everything that makes a book easier to learn from when English isn't your first language:

  • Synchronized text that scrolls and highlights the word being spoken, so you can follow every line.
  • Vocabulary graded to the CEFR scale (A1–C2) — only words above your level are flagged.
  • Tap any flagged word for a definition, the phonetic spelling, a pronunciation you can hear, and examples.

Why classic novels?

Every book here is a public-domain classic — its copyright has expired, so it can be shared and narrated freely. These are the stories that shaped the language, and they make rich, rewarding reading practice.
